But ... We must not forget the reason for the season ...
Jesus

Here's a little poem: If you

look for me at Christmas,
You Will not need a special star.
I'm No Longer in Bethlehem,
I'm right there Where You Are.
You may not be aware of Me,
Amid the celebrations.
You’ll have to look beyond the stores,
And all the decorations.
But if you take a moment,
From your list of things to do,
And listen to your heart, you’ll find
I’m waiting there for you.
You’re the one I want to be with,
You’re the reason that I came.
And you'll find Me in the stillness,
As I'm whispering your name.

Love, Jesus

Merry Christmas!

Nitrous Whippets Too Many

Christmas - Countdown!

Our small family will begin to read a Christmas story tonight. We will accompany a small bear for 24 stories in a wonderful journey to Bethlehem ... A story by night. I think I'm more excited than Maxou start the journey! : O)

is a book that I found City Library:

Here is a preview (I cheated a little) ...

Theo and the little lamb went, and to their surprise, the animals came from all sides on the road. All the same direction they were taking.

"Hey! Look a little or you put your legs!" suddenly exclaimed a turtle just behind him.
In all this turmoil, Theo had not even noticed and had nearly stepped on him.

"But where are you?" he asked.

See who gives courage " said the turtle.
See who relieves, "continued the fox.
"Whoever defends the weak!" Said the lion.

Theo did not return.
"Are you talking about the child? The child that is born? The boy-king?" he asked.
And like all animals nodded, he added: "So we go to the same place!"

Little Bear (who is telling the story by his parents) launches cheerfully: "You know how we could call the baby? ... The savior!"

Advent calendar

I was looking for a calendar of Advent to do with Maxim. You know the one with the little chocolate in it and this morning I was glad to read the blog GirlTalk that existed with different Bible verses. I printed the verses and we will make our own schedule-candy. Today we begin! Yeeeeea!

" But the angel said unto them, Fear not: for I proclaim to you good news, which shall be to all people about the great joy that today in the city of David, you is born a Savior, who is Christ the Lord . Luc 2:10-11

Life Application Bible explique ce verset :

" The greatest event in history had just happened ! The Messiah had been born ! For ages the Jews had waited for this, and when it finally occurred, the announcement came to humble shepherds. The good news about Jesus is that he comes to all, including the plain and the ordinary. He comes to anyone with a heart humble enough to accept him. Whoever you are, whatever you do, you can have Jesus in your life. Don't think you need extraordinary qualifications...
He accepts you as you are.
"

Good reflection and preparation for Christmas!

I remember my father once asked me:
"Is what I can see your loose tooth?"
AND THEN IT HAS PULLED!
A memory that marked me! hee hee! (Joke)

It's a bit what has Maxou past with ...
He had no idea that Alain was to pull the rope!

Alain did not miss his shot so he shot

The tooth was thrown into the air and Pistachio

Hot Actresses Showing Boobs

Sermons by Mark Driscoll

I listened to a sermon by Mark Driscoll this afternoon and I really liked the last words of his message. They are:

"Lots of people will tell you That Christianity Is About Jesus forgive your sins so you can die and go to heaven.
That's true but there is more !
Jesus also change your heart, your mind,
your life so that you can live differently on the earth.

You can love your spouse, you can have a vision
for a legacy for your kids and grand kids.

Are you growing as a christian ?
Not just believe in God but in a Bible study,
community group, reading the Bible or praying.

Are you growing so that you can continue
in the life that God would have for you ?"

Je vous ai déjà écrit un billet sur le sujet mais je dois ABSOLUMENT prendre encore le temps aujourd'hui to invite you to listen to the preaching of Mark Driscoll and team Mars Hill Church .

I found a bunch of sermons on their website (click here )!

Petit added November 13, 2009: I listen
now a new series "Proverbs
2009 " .
A series of 7 messages. Audio only. REALLY GOOD!

You will recall that I invited you to listen this series:

The peasant Princess

I re-listened: "I Was A Wall - Part 10 . A sermon that speaks a lot about the relationship between father and daughter but that can also apply with our boys!

As I said ... It's really good stock! : O)

Day 23 (June 9): It's over!

Yes we are now at the airport Charles de Gaulle until our plane finally left for Montreal with 1 hour delay.

We (Luce and Michel) wish to sincerely thank our students for this wonderful adventure that we shared together. Each group member has contributed in its own way, to ensure that this trip was amazing and very rewarding. To end this blog, we wanted to make a nod to each of our students, in connection with what we experienced during the trip and will perhaps not make sense for you. For you to question these students.

Marie-Pier B. Vigneux said: "The Sweet Marie"
She is gentle in his actions as much as for the tone of his voice. If you want to be sure I hear it, make sure it has a toothbrush in his mouth!

Katherine Beaulieu said: "The Quiet"
Sometimes we thought he had forgotten it was so quiet. By cons, she was always available to participate in various activities.

Dominic Belanger said, "the end-to-train"
From the early hours of the morning, it was already laughing to tears. Thanks to him we were able to keep our line because it seems that laughter helps to digest!

Lea Chagnon said: "Tabarouette! "
If she could be cloned to be everywhere at once, she would. This funny little woman has allowed us to see in all colors. In her dreams, she is still trying to skirmish with David?

Kim Charbonneau said: "The Amazing"
Under this long black hair, lies a girl fascinated by the beauty of things and accomplishments. She knows wonderfully describe what she observes. Over time, we realize that we know to win.

Emily Daigneault said: "Patience-born"
Someone made to live in groups. With nine brothers and sisters, she has seen others. She was even "forced rest" during his stay in France. Thank you for your patience!

Genesse Annie said: "The animal lover"
Even in Paris, with all the wonders to see, his concern was to visit a pet store! It was the same for horses at Chambord, dogs at Cheverny and farmyard animals. Tell him to Sarkozy!

Gilbert Grenier said, "Kir Royal"
An outstanding driver and a calm extraordinary. This is a guy that fits all and not complicated. However, in terms of food, one will find only the "steak" and "sweet" on her plate.

David Lavergne said: "The Distracted"
Where are we going? What do we do? What time start? Here are the frequently asked questions despite very clear instructions. A guy always ready to service. Do not look for what David did: he eats or he feels tight with Leah!

Erika Lozeau said: "The Travel"
Super organized for his luggage, foresight, a girl who has the experience of travel. Not difficult for two cents. She liked to talk into the wee hours of the morning with his two comrades. She composed the trio infernal!

Auclair Xavier Mercier said: "admiration"
Better than yesterday but worse than tomorrow, summed up well! How many times have we heard the following remarks: the best food, the most beautiful city, the most beautiful castle, the best wine I have ever seen!

Danielle Moreau said: "The Photographer"
If you missed a picture, do not worry, it surely has! She helped us structure our budget both before departure and during the trip. Through her, we could save a few pennies!

Jean-Matthieu Olszensky said: "Che-Che
clamp-in-cheek, there is the slightest hint of events to make us laugh. He invented the word "che-che," which has several meanings. Ask these definitions. What about also it looks "Grease"!

Sanfaçon Luke says, "choo"
Despite his allergies, he was able to participate like other activities, without complaint. While it added to his sufferings, being a snorer with sleep for several nights!

Sebastian Vincelette said: "The Phlegmatic"
As an Englishman, he was able to control his emotions and thus to make the right decisions and actions when they arise. Lover of good things, he knows when the time comes to celebrate.

A big thank you to all people who have read and that gave us feedback throughout his stay in France!

Letter For Asking Gift

Day 22 (Monday, 8 June2009): Last day in Paris and France

Today the group is a lie. Travel fatigue is beginning to be felt. In addition, this rainy Monday encourages us to stay in bed. So we leave at 11:00 to visit Paris last time. First stop, the Pont Alexandre III. It's time to take pictures!! Then we walk to the Champs Elysees where the rain makes the visit less enjoyable. The group then has a free period to do some shopping and dinner. Some take the opportunity to stop at the Disney store to buy some stuffed animals for their personal use (!!!) or to give as gifts.

Following this break, we come together under the Arc de Triomphe where we have a wonderful view: on one side of the Place de la Concorde and the other the Place de la Defense.

Unfortunately, it continues to rain, and this requires us to make the choice to visit places sheltered from bad weather. Katherine, Luke and Kim decide to visit the Paris Opera. Annie and Danielle decided to return at the hostel and compose their final day on the blog. The rest of the group decides to go for a stroll at Galeries Lafayette. We visit all seven floors of this mega mall! The architecture of this place, and especially the canopy, is truly remarkable. Tired, we stop at a restaurant to take: coffee, pastries and ice creams. Lea feels that the time drags on, leaving us to ... nowhere! We shall find later for our last meal in France.

The rest of the group decides to spin up to Montmartre to visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the cemetery where is the favorite singer of the princess and teases Lamothe, that is to say Dalida.

For now, the rain stopped, which allowed us to climb the stairs again to get to the basilica. Then we go to the Moulin Rouge, mythical and famous. Unfortunately, we lack the time to visit the Montmartre cemetery. Dalida will be in our heart and our thoughts, anyway!
We were all given an appointment at 19.30 the corner of St. Germain and Saint Michel for our last meal together. In heavy rain, we waited in vain Danielle and Annie ... Unfortunately, they could not join us, not knowing at that time, the restaurant's name. Dapple raclette and sausage, beef Bourguignon, chicken, all washed down with fine wines accompanied this last meal.
Finally this evening, we went to Trocadero Square, admiring one last time, in all its glory, the Eiffel Tower illuminated. Thank

Paris, the rain had stopped!

Day 21, June 7, 2009: Free day

Since the day was free, the group split into several subgroups. We were 6 to visit the Catacombs (Annie, Danielle, Kim, Katherine, Luke and Marie-Pier). First, the tour begins with a descent into an endless spiral staircase, dark and narrow, to reach a sign telling us that we had a distance of 500 meters to go before reaching the Cemetery of the Innocents. The road is under the city in a long tunnel carved into the stone by construction workers in 1777. It must not be claustrophobic to go there because the output is far, it's dark and damp, and the place gives goosebumps. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and there are between 6 and 7 million bones arranged in different phyla. It is quite impressive to see how the bones are presented. Each cemetery has its location, sign and year of arrival in the catacombs and we think that works of art made with the bones are in good taste.
Subsequently, the small band broke, we (Annie and Danielle) went to visit the small shops on the edge of the Seine. What surprised us most is the pet. Did you know you can buy in the middle of Paris, chickens, ducks and pigeons? We, we did not know. Also, question to $ 100 for Quebecers: Who among you has never been offered a free kitten? Well, I do not think this is money running in Paris since the kittens cheapest we've found are at 420 € each, and they look strangely like our cats! So you can imagine the price of a cat or a Persian Himalayan!

Then all those emotions we have an appetite and filled with happiness, we found a Pizza Hut! We arrive just in time for the buffet. In France, there are 8 different kinds of pizza and contains none of pepperoni! After conducting a sampling of each kind, and sensory evaluation of each (they were all tasted!) We agreed that our favorite pizza is the BBQ (BBQ sauce, mozzarella and meatballs).

The full stomach, we drove to the Louvre Museum ... The entry we have borrowed in the shape of a pyramid, which leads directly to the center of the Museum. We were impressed by the grandeur of these places and marvel at its architecture. Also, paintings and sculptures are of exceptional beauty. Among other things, the Mona Lisa is still as popular as we struggled to get close.
Meanwhile, some of our colleagues went to the Musée des Invalides. Many have enjoyed this visit as the Museum is divided into several separate issues and there is something for everyone.

The evening is free, everyone could do what he wanted, but it was strongly advised to prepare our bags for the big departure from last week.
