And yes, as stated by a great man, projects is good when its starts, the finish is for others!

This is another project that is superimposed on the other: Rebuilding the French infantryman during the years 1845-1860 primarily wars Crimea and Italy .

For many years I am interested by the Second Empire (a continuation of the conquest of Algeria !). Off, for lack of a reenactment group in this period , I chose to direct me to the civil war taking place over the same period with the same types of equipment, and even regulations (the U.S. regulations are copied to the French!). The group serious and good atmosphere we finally convinced me!

For some time many people in this group that speaks to me in parallel to reconstruct the French infantryman Crimean Italy. Attendance at the blog " warfare in The age of steam " I was also greatly inspired! The fact that English or Russian groups do the same is motivating. The proximity of the battlefields of Italy North suggests the possibility of finding other groups of enemies and to "fight".

We therefore decided to launch Andfon and me in this adventure (he is the engine for quite a long time!) , soon joined by our usual sidekicks! Here we are four, and everything to do! Here are some documents on hunters of Africa . They were created in 1830, from Metro riders .
